As mentioned on our March issue, Saudi Arabian Customs require that all shipments entering into Saudi must be palletized at all times and each item must bear the non-removable sticker/label for Country of Origin (Made in …......). We would like to reiterate that non-conformance with the above requirements may lead to penalties by the Saudi Arabian Customs or re-exportation. This regulation has been in effect from February 1 st 2009. To avoid any additional cost, we once again request to ensure to mark country of origin on the packages prior to the shipments departure from load ports.
