Declaration of Detailed Free Zone Forms No. 1 (Integrated For Import, Export and Transhipment )

Referring to the Port Klang Authority's circular ref. (5)dlm KP 04-2.2 Jld. 4 dated 9 th December 2008 regarding the above matter.

•  As mention in the previous circular, the requirement to submit the detailed information of Customs Harmonized Code (6 digit), Bill of Lading Number and Container Number which is mandatory in the Free Zone Form no. 1 for all import, export and transhipment at Free Zone in Port Klang effective 1 st January 2009 was extended to 1 st April 2009.

•  Although the effective date was extended, the current procedures to declare the Free Zone Form No. 1 are mandatory for all integrated import, export and transhipment as stated in Section 21, 22 and 23, Free Zone Regulations 1991. Those unable to comply with these requirements i.e. non declaration, incomplete or inaccurate declaration may be subjected to additional checks and penalties, on there shipment. Hence, they may also face the risk of their shipment not being loaded.

•  The Free Zone Authority and the Terminal Operators are still formulating Single document submission of status list (loading list) which is an essential on condition that mandatory data is included in the loading list. Please do not contact the relevant associations if you require the clarification on the data element for declaration or to download from the website at www.pka.gov.my .
