A one day course was conducted by our very experienced & well qualified HQ Financial Controller, Ms.Luah Leng Kah on 28 th Nov 2008. About 10 non-finance officers including heads of departments, managers & officers in our HQ team participated in this Finance for Non-Finance Professionals Course.
Ms. Luah was an excellent & informative lecturer. She has given the participants some basic financial / accounting knowledge to better equip themselves to carry out their day to day duties effectively. She has provided good resource of materials, examples of financial & management accounting report & explained to the participants in such a way as to be manageable and digestible. With the necessary financial / accounting tools, participants would be able to apply them to their work as in to analyze and understand the financial health of a business, whether in managing departmental P&L, trade lane pricing, profitability, cost, credit & debtor management, etc.
The participants commended that they had benefited from the course and the information that they've learned will definitely be of helped in their work.
