For many past shipments, GL Korea has had a difficult time arranging transhipment cargoes with the Korean customs. We were informed by the customs that we had deceived on cargo volume (weight, measurement )compare to the actual cargoes from origin and manifest.
Korean customs randomly checks the cargo and if they find out any wrong cargo volume, heavy fines will be imposed. In addition, it will cause long delay to the transit time.
Pls be informed that wrong declaration will be at your own liability, with immediate effect if there is any difference in cargo volume found, the addtional ocean freight and all cost incurred with the remeasuring volume in Korea will be charged to origin. Hence, pls ensure all your cargoes are declared with the correct cargo weight and measurement
