Do NOT accept cargo for Mumbai discharge till further notice.

Gentle reminder: with immediate effect please stop accepting any cargo for Mumbai discharge.

Vessels are not calling at Mumbai port any more.  All business is diverted to Nhava Sheva.  Therefore, please do not release any HB/L showing Place of Delivery as Mumbai.

You may request the shippers/consignees to take the delivery from Nhava Sheva instead.  Just for your information Mumbai has two ports, Mumbai ( Old Port ), Nhava sheva (new Port, which has three different terminals, JNPT, NSICT and GTI ) and the distance is not very far.

All vessel owners / barge operators have opted to stop operations from Mumbai old port.  All LCL cargo booked globally will be received at Nhava Sheva only.

This is a temporary situation due to the repairs works being conducted at Mumbai port.
