True to form, Globelink has once again showed that we are a caring organization. We were out in full force in support of the ' MILK RUN ', a fund raising event for disadvantaged children organized by our adopted charity organization - Beyond Social Service ( www.beyond.com ). The event drawn about 12,000 participants island wide. Globelink staffs spend an eventful Sunday on 6 Jul 2008 in baggage service volunteering and participating in runs. Our Globelink Unity Spirit has made the baggage service such a success that organizer is requesting us to take up baggage service volunteering again next year.
In addition, the company sponsored S$10,000 to help stage the event and our staff collectively raised S$4,206.35 cash donations through the event's donation cards circulation.
