Earthquake in China

On May 12, 2008, a n earthquake of magnitude 8.0 struck Sichuan province of China at 2:28pm. The epicenter of the earthquake, Wenchuan, is about 90 miles from Chengdu , the capital of Sichuan . The amount of energy released by the earthquake is more than 500 atomic bombs and 30 times worst than the 1995 Kobe earthquake in Japan . By May 19, more than 32,000 were confirmed dead with more than 20,000 missing and more than 4.7 million homes badly damaged.

Our Globelink offices in China responded by providing aid & support where possible including donations. We would like to thank our business partners and agents for their kind concern.
