Evergreen, Zhenli, Yangming launch Intra-Asia service

Evergreen, together with Zhenli and Yang Ming, has launched China-Hong Kong-Manila-Java/China 1 service called the CN1.

The service will commence with 28-day sailing of four 1,500-TEU ships. The first sailing will be operated by Evergreen's Apollon I from Qingdao in the following rotation: Qingdao , Shanghai , Ningbo , Hong Kong, Manila , North Harbour , Manila South Harbour , Jakarta , Surabaya , Manila South Harbour , Hong Kong .

The CN1 service is the second Hong Kong-to-Manila service launched by Evergreen after the JTP service that started in September. The service extends to Javanese ports and will greatly shorten the shipping time and enhance efficiency, said an Evergreen statement.
